terraform-azurerm-avm-template
This is a template repo for Terraform Azure Verified Modules.
Things to do:
- Set up a GitHub repo environment called
test. - Configure environment protection rule to ensure that approval is required before deploying to this environment.
- Create a user-assigned managed identity in your test subscription.
- Create a role assignment for the managed identity on your test subscription, use the minimum required role.
- Configure federated identity credentials on the user assigned managed identity. Use the GitHub environment.
- Create the following environment secrets on the
testenvironment:- AZURE_CLIENT_ID
- AZURE_TENANT_ID
- AZURE_SUBSCRIPTION_ID

Release History
Version 0.2.0 - 2025-06-19
- Updated
random_uuidgeneration as part of a loop to create unique worker_id for each Hybrid_worker. !!Warning!! this is a breaking change, it will destroy and recreate the Worker_id for existing resources. - Corrected few typos identified in the code ("occurrence" with a spelling mistake under
Automation schedules) - Added ability to create and link multiple
job_schedulesto a runbook as part of inlined property inAzurerm_automation_runbook - Corrected a bug identified under
azurem_automation_webhookwhere it was referencing the runbook name instead of type. - Created a separate variable block for
Job_Schedulewith type "map" to allow multiple job schedules per runbook. - Added Validation checks for below variables: -
automation_connectionsautomation_runbooksautomation_schedules - Latest governance check
